Works great each and every time. By the time I'm tucking in the bedspread, the rewind is complete and ready to pop back into the VCR. I bought this rewinder over two years ago, almost three, to save the built in rewinder in my television VCR. Put tape in when I start to make the bed. Would highly recommend this reliable rewinder. I use it daily, twice a day to rewind tapings that I have done from the night before and then again, after I have watched them. It have haver failed me.
How much speed do some people want. I find it plenty fast. Also if you have a full tape to rewind you can always do something else while it is rewinding. I've rewound several tapes so far and find this rewinder to be whisper quiet and fast. I don't understand those critics that claim it is terribly slow.
SURPRISE. I bought this because I was sick of paying for a new rewinder every year or so. The so-called Heavy Duty Commercial Use NK-2 didn't even last as long as the rewinders costing 1/3 as much. I WAS happy with the Kinyo NK-2 Heavy-Duty Commercial Use 1-Way VHS Rewinder UNTIL IT DIED AFTER LESS THAN EIGHT MONTHS OF VERY LIGHT USE. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.
I don't want another of these but may end up with it anyway. There are very few made these days. Not a good quality product. I ordered it in May of 2007 and now June 2008 I am looking for another.
It's so quiet, you don't think itis working when in fact it is. So far, so good.a great rewinder.
